Titan 52 Gouvernal Battle Cruiser

 Well, let's face it. My latest models SUCKED! But that was because I sucked at Google SketchUp, but now im better. I said better not good. And this is the proof of that. The Titan 52 Gouvernal Battle Cruiser, made for my sci-fi blogbook that may come in English(I'm Swedish). Ilornia.blogg.se/sanningen

Model name: Titan 52 Gouvernal Battle Cruiser
Designed and manufactured by: The United Nations Gouverment
Technology sources: Human, Nocylan and Kulmian.(Kulmians are bad guys)
Weaponry: Blackstream Company Railguns(see www.wikipedia.com/wiki/railgun), Kulmian/Nocylan intersection beam(three intersecting beams of energy that creates a "death ray" that can pierce through shields like a hot knife through butter).
Power Generator: New Stockholm Mark II Fusion Reactor.
Shield generator: New London Defence 400 series contouric shield generator(follows the hull of the ship instead of the traditional bubble)
Propulsion: New Jerusalem Engineering 600 series semi-ionic thrusters.
Smaller craft: Two-manned Ring Ships(coming soon) stored in the front hangar.(The iris door), Two Blackstream Colonies Transport craft in the front hangar.
Hull: Titanium nanofibers.

 So, tell me what you think and ask for info you want. I've got it all.  Most technology on the ship is based on real life technology so it is most likley be possible. And some are just plain, good old made upp sci-fi...urmm. Whatever.

For all of you wondering why all cities have 'new' on them: The main story is in a post apocalyptic world where most of the human kind where destroyed by the Kulmians but where saved by the Nocylans who gave them technology. Earth's atmophere was corrupted by the countless of hyperspace windows created by the fleeing Kulmian ships. So the survivers of the world used their new technology to colonize planets all over the galaxy wich they named after their cities. New London, New Stockholm, Newer York and many more.

From a design perspective the ship is very vulnerable if attacked from below, most ships are designed to have maximum fire arc from turret support, keep in mind a ship of that size would not be able to move/turn quickly so attack from its "belly" would cripple it. Or is that what you intended?

Almost done with version two, and it has cannons on the bottom now :P And I got rid of those horrible thruster!
